As a student of English, I am excited to share my travel plan for Dali, China. Dali is a beautiful city located in the Yunnan Province, known for its stunning natural landscapes, rich history, and unique culture. This travel plan will provide an in-depth look at the top attractions, delicious cuisine, and must-do activities in Dali.
Getting to Dali:First, I will fly into the Kunming Changshui International Airport and then take a bus or a high-speed train to Dali. The bus ride will take approximately 3 hours, while the high-speed train will take about 2 hours.
Day 1: Arrival in DaliUpon arrival in Dali, I will check into my hotel and take some time to rest and freshen up. In the evening, I will explore the ancient city of Dali and visit the popular Foreigner Street, where I can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, shop for souvenirs, and try some local cuisine.
Day 2: Exploring the Ancient City of DaliOn day two, I will start my day with a visit to the Dali Ancient City Wall, which is the largest and most well-preserved ancient city wall in China. After that, I will visit the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple, which are an impressive sight to behold. In the afternoon, I will head to the Erhai Lake, where I can take a boat ride and enjoy the stunning scenery.
Day 3: cycling in DaliOn day three, I will rent a bicycle and cycle around the beautiful scenery of Dali. I will start my journey at the文献名邦牌坊 (Wenxian Mingbang Pavilion), and then cycle along the Erhai Lake towards the Butterfly Spring. I will stop at the Butterfly Spring to take a break and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. After that, I will continue cycling to the Cangshan Mountain, where I can hike and explore the stunning views.
Day 4: Dali to LijiangOn day four, I will take a bus or a train to the nearby city of Lijiang. Lijiang is another beautiful city in Yunnan Province, known for its well-preserved ancient town and rich cultural heritage. I will spend the day exploring the old town of Lijiang and visiting the popular attractions such as the Square Street, the Lion Rock, and the Ancient Tea Horse Road.
Day 5: Return to DaliOn day five, I will return to Dali and visit the Dali Ethnic Culture Village, where I can learn about the local Bai ethnic culture and customs. In the evening, I will visit the Dali Night Market to try some of the local delicacies and shop for more souvenirs.
Day 6: Departure from DaliOn my final day in Dali, I will visit the Dali Stone Forest, which is a unique natural attraction that features thousands of stone pillars. After that, I will head back to my hotel to collect my luggage and catch my bus or train back to Kunming.
