Day 1: Arrival in Kunming
Today, I arrived in Kunming, the capital city of Yunnan Province, China. I was greeted by the beautiful scenery and pleasant weather. After checking into my hotel, I decided to explore the city. I visited the翠湖公园 (Cuihu Park), which is a famous park in Kunming. It was filled with locals enjoying their leisure time, practicing Tai Chi, or singing songs. I also stumbled upon a local market where I had the chance to try some delicious云南特色小吃 (Yunnan specialty snacks).

I took a morning flight to Lijiang, a city famous for its well-preserved ancient town. Upon arrival, I checked into a traditional courtyard hotel in the old town. The architecture and the layout of the town were very unique, and it felt like I was transported back in time. In the evening, I watched the 丽江千古情 (Lijiang Story Show), which was a performance showcasing the history and culture of the area.
Day 6: Tiger Leaping Gorge
Today, I visited the 虎跳峡 (Tiger Leaping Gorge), one of the deepest gorges in the world. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and I had a great time hiking along the gorge. The views from the top were simply stunning, and I was able to see the entire gorge in its entirety.
